They’re about 5″H x 7″ Wide, or about 13x18cm. Custom sizes may be available upon request.

What plants are best for this planter?

The plantable area is perfect for air plants or some succulents. Here’s a couple popular options:

Best Bet –  The Tillandsia plant aka the Air Plant

Air plants don’t require soil to grow, which means you can use them in unique planters and don’t need to fuss with pots or potting soil. These plants are great if you’re looking for a small plant or don’t want to deal with pots or the soil they require. If you decide to house your air plant in an enclosed terrarium, make sure you leave vents so it gets lots of air circulation.

The jade plant (what I use) 

Basically hard to kill, I’m believe the pictures include a jade plant, and a weeping jade. But I’m not 100% sure so green thumbs are free to let me know! 😅

The plant is easy to care for and can survive with minimal water.

Does this pug planter have a drain hole?

No, but of course you’re free to drill a small hole of your own!

Personally, since it’s a small plantable area, it’s pretty easy to gauge how much water you need, thus I decided not to put in a drain hole – but you can easily drill one in if needed!

My shirts on Etsy are produced on the popular Bella Canvas 3001 blanks, which are known to be super soft and light (which I prefer).
